robyn macrae, phd student

Robyn studied for her undergraduate degree at the University of Edinburgh (BSc Biomedical Sciences with Honours in Pharmacology).  In 2017, she was accepted onto the British Heart Foundation 4-Year PhD Programme at the University of Cambridge and, following her MRes year, started her PhD in October 2018 and worked in the lab until 2022.

Robyn was co-supervised by Dr Sanjay Sinha and Dr Anthony Davenport (Experimental Medicine and Immunotherapuetics, University of Cambridge). Her project focuses on using hESC-derived models to investigate mutations associated with pulmonary arterial hypertension.

Outside of the lab, Robyn is a keen horse rider and instructor, plays polo for the University and rows for her College.  She also enjoys travelling and baking.
