Following his undergraduate in biomedical sciences and engineering in Istanbul, Semih read for a master's in regenerative medicine at Imperial College in London.  At Cambridge, he is investigating human heart development at a molecular level. Using single cell sequencing technologies and wet lab techniques, he is aiming to gain developmental insights to feed into stem cell models of cardiovascular diseases for target discovery.
